ACT releases digital scores from school day testing, in batches to a students MyACT account portal. Most scores are available in the MyACT portal about 4-6 weeks after the test date. Paper scores are
mailed directly home to students, using the address students provided in their pre-test activity, about 6-8 weeks after their test date.
If you took the National ACT test on Saturday, please visit the ACT website at, https://www.act.org/content/act/en.html, to learn how to access your scores.
FAQs About ACT School Day Score Release and Accounts
What if the school day test is your first test or interaction with ACT? How do students get into an online account? Wait until your paper report is received or ask your counselor or campus College and Career Coordiantor for your ACT ID#. Once you have that number, go to the ACT website and create an account. Students are asked if they’ve ever taken the ACT before. Answer “yes”. You’ll then be prompted to provide your I.D. #. This should set-up your account you can use to register for future test dates and all scores should be in this account moving forward.
What if you already have an ACT account due to testing prior to the school day test or you have already registering to test at a later date? Your state scores should get matched to your existing account within two weeks of your paper report being received. The ACT computer system is looking at the personal information you provided on test day to match with that in your existing account.
What if your school day test scores never appear in your existing account? First, give it two weeks from the time of receiving your paper report for the the scores to appear. If it hasn’t happened in that time frame, call ACT Customer Care at 319-337-1270 for assistance. Your school can’t fix this for you, you must directly reach out to ACT.

Submitting Scores to Colleges
Students were asked to submit non-test information through their MyACT prior to testing or up to two days after completing their test. ACT realizes challenges may have caused some students to miss the deadline for completing this process and selecting colleges for automated score reporting.
If your student did not select at least one college for automated score reporting, ACT will provide them with a voucher code so they can select a college to report their scores to. Students who entered at least one college for score reporting are not eligible for a voucher. The code will be printed on page 1 of the student’s paper score report and is redeemable for the one-time purchase of up to four additional score reports at no cost. Additional college choices may be included for a fee. All voucher codes will expire, so students should be encouraged to use the code within two weeks of receiving their paper score report.
Should I Retake the ACT?
Many juniors begin the process of applying to college during the summer leading into their senior year. Even if you are applying to a school which is test optional, many merit based scholarships will evaluate your ACT scores for potential college funding.
