No More Worksheets!
Paper is messy, paper is expensive, paper kills trees, paper gets lost! We could all do a better job of using less paper and Google Apps is one way to accomplish that. Yes we know sometimes worksheets and paper documents are necessary and that as a District, we are all still getting our feet wet when it comes to using our Google Apps accounts.
In this issue, we offer you some valuable tips and examples for how you can get started taking advantage of your Google Apps accounts. All staff and students have apps accounts. To access Google accounts, staff and students use their existing network ids. Student ids can be pulled from PowerSchool, if there are any problems.
Check out how Cheltenham Elementary 4th grade teacher, Mike Ferris, used Google Apps in his class last year. They did some creative writing and used Google Presentations which he then posted to his teacher pages website.
If you would like help using any of the below ideas, request training support via the help desk system by selecting technology training as the request type.
