Theme
An example of theme is the main idea of a story, poem or play.The theme of this story is that wanting to be accepted and loved by others makes people do stuff they usually wouldn't do.
Setting
An example of setting is the place and time were the story takes place at. This story takes place at the Jericho's school, at Jericho's house, his cousins house, the band room, the football field, and at the warriors meeting place.
Character
An example of character is any person animal or thing in a story that relates to the story. The characters in this story are Jericho, his cousin, Dana, Dana's boyfriend, Jericho's mom and dad, Jericho's girlfriend, and teachers and warrior members.
Plot
Series of related events that make up a story or drama.
An example of plot is the events that make up the story, poem or play. Jericho's is a pretty normal kid who just wants to be accepted and wants a girl to like him so when he gets a invitation for the warriors group at his school he accepts, which leads to him getting the girl he wants, which leads to him getting people to like him like he wanted, but because of wanting to be accepted his cousin died and he decided to quit the group.
Mood/Tone
Attitude a writer takes toward a subject a character or the audience.
An example of tone is frustrated. A example of tone is sad. Jericho's emotion through the book shows that he just wants to be accepted by society. He joins a group and gets into hazing so he can be accepted.
Point of View
An example of point of view is 1st person. The story is being told in 3rd person because the narrator is telling the story.
