MORNING DROP OFF
HSB Families,
It remains our highest priority to ensure that students enter and exit cars in a safe and organized way. We ask everyone to correctly follow our pick-up and drop-off procedures. Failure to do so creates chaos, frustration and unsafe conditions.
Reminders:
· If you are picking up or dropping off your child and you need to get out of the vehicle, you must park in a designated parking space. You may not leave your car unattended in the fire lane.
· Please DO NOT STOP on Frankford Road or any street to either drop-off or pick-up students. This is very dangerous and can cause traffic to back up on the street.
We appreciate your efforts to help insure the safety of our students as they arrive and depart our school.
Levar Sheffield

We would like to share our second semester TSI testing schedule with ACT-SAT tests.
Please encourage your child to attend the test .

Important Chromebook Information
Parents,
*We would like to ask all parents to contact our school in case your child lost a charger and you want to purchase a new one. With this notification the school will provide a new label for a newly purchased charger right away and we can avoid any misunderstandings at the end of the year, where the policy is "no label = new charger" will be strictly enforced.
* Also, we would like to remind all our students who had their Chromebook in for a repair, that they can receive a “loaner” Chromebook on a daily basis here at school. The loan period starts at 7:30 AM and
ends at 7:50 AM. All returns start at 3:45 PM and ends at 4:00 PM.
Sincerely,

Please ensure that you are not using the George Bush entry as an exit in the morning and afternoon. This is an entry ONLY and should not be used as an exit as it is going against oncoming traffic. We thank you in advance for your cooperation with this.
STRICTLY ENFORCED SCHOOL ALLERGY ALERT!!!!!
We have many students who have food allergies that can be very harmful if consumed by smell and if eaten accidentally. Please do not give your child any fish (seafood) for lunch and or for snacks. Also, please note that our school has a no sharing policy for this purpose as well. We would also like for parents to please not send any loose nuts for these meals. We appreciate your diligence to this policy as we have our students well being at the top of our priority. The front office will notify parents of students who have these items for lunch or snack, and the student will be able to go through our lunch line or receive an alternate meal. The parent may also select to bring a different meal. Please address any and all questions that you may have to Nurse Carmen. Thank you.
WALK PASS UPDATE!
Effective this week, students with a walk pass can ONLY exit through the GYM during dismissal.
Students must show their walk pass to the staff member at the gym exit door before they leave the gym.
