Purposeful People
This year Tiffany Ridge is piloting a program called Purposeful People for our classroom morning meetings. Each month we will focus on a different character trait. All grade levels will have the same theme but different lessons that grow as the kids do. This month’s focus is Respect. One way to think about Respect is “seeing value in all people and things & treating them with care.” Many people feel Respected in different ways, and we hope this month inspires discussions with your family about what Respect means to you and how you can practice it together! Respect is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Kind. Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like perspective-taking, conflict resolution, and leadership.
Conversation Starters
● Can you share or show what Respect means?
● Why do you think it is important to use Whole Body Listening when practicing Respect?
Family Challenge
Review Respect as a family! Remember that in our lessons we are teaching that Respect means to see value in people and things and treat them with care. Agree as a family to set aside a certain time each day this week to unplug from devices and plug into family time. It shows Respect to practice being present in the moment without the distractions that can come from technology. Debrief and discuss this challenge afterward and commit to this practice at least 1 day each week!
PTA Membership Raffle!
All parents and staff who have signed up to join PTA by September 23rd will automatically be entered into a raffle for 5 free Chick-fil-A meals to be given out! Winners will be announced September 23rd. Use link below to join!
We still need party planners for the Fall Parties on 10/28!

Walk in the Park Hill Homecoming Parade with us!
We will meet by 4:45 in parking lot of Prairie Point- parade starts at 5:00. It is recommended that people park at the end of the parade route (east parking lot of Park Hill High School) and walk to Prairie Point due to the extremely limited parking at Prairie Point.
Bring candy to throw and homemade signs celebrating Tiffany Ridge to carry - you can even wear a costume. The Homecoming theme is "There's no place like home(coming)" and is based around The Wizard of Oz.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO VIEW YOUR CHILD'S BUS LOCATION?
The FirstView® Bus App allows you to track your child’s bus in real-time, set up alerts to notify you when their bus is at a certain location, and you can link up to three email accounts. The app is password protected, to keep your child safe.
