Tuesday, September 26th-School Spirit Day

To celebrate our 1st home sporting event, we will have a school spirit day. Students can wear their NHCS gear, school colors, or whatever else sounds school spirit-y. The Pee Wee basketball team and cheerleaders open up their season at home that evening at 6 pm. Come out and support the Crusaders.

Sweet Treats-What is this?

I've been asked, "What are sweet treats?" Great question.


This is something that our 8th grade class sells on Fridays during lunch. The cost is $1. 8th grade students/parents are responsible for bringing in treats. ALL the funds raised goes towards their 8th grade class trip and an 8th grade class legacy project. Past legacy projects are the gaga pits and a donation to purchase swings. Last year's class, is making a donation to whatever this year's class decides on.


This is an optional thing.

Save the Date-Fall Festival ---5:30

NHCS will take over the Schwartz Orchard on Saturday, October 14th at 5:30 pm. More details to come. This is a fun night where families can come together to socialize and do orchard things.

8th Grade News

Students attending Centralia High School next year. There is a parent informational meeting on Wednesday, Oct 11th at 6 pm.

Fire Prevention Month-October

Thursday, Oct. 12th we will have a fire drill with the fire department. Patches will be at school for grades K-2 and the Smoke House will be at school for grades 3rd and 4th.

October 13th- 12 pm Dismissal

Early dismissal on Friday, October 13th. This is also the end of the 1st quarter.

ATV Reminder

Please DO NOT allow your child to drive anything motorized to school during school hours or to any school sponsored functions unless you are with them supervising.
