Free School Meals

Dear Maryville Families,
We are pleased to inform you that under a new USDA funded program MARYVILLE CITY SCHOOLS will offer FREE MEALS TO ALL STUDENTS starting Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Below are the details you should know:
- All students will be served under this USDA program.
- One regular (reimbursable) lunch meal AND one regular (reimbursable) breakfast meal are included.
- Funding for this program will run until December 31 or until federal funding expires.
- Items considered à la carte" (any extra servings or snack items), will still require payment.
- Payment for à la carte items can be paid with cash or on a student lunch account (with student ID).
- Digital learners can pick up free meals at their school by following all previously communicated COVID-related protocols. Contact your school with any questions.
- This program does not allow for food distribution to students who are not enrolled in our district.
- This program does not require an application for participation.
IMPORTANT NOTE for families who qualify for free or reduced-priced meals. While this program will allow your children to receive free meals at school this fall, we do not know what could happen after the program ends. For that reason, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND completing the free lunch application before the September 10 deadline, at this link: https://www.applyforlunch.com/Application.
