WHAT'S HAPPENING AT ABRAMS?
Help a Hero
During the time of November 1-13, 2018, Abrams Elementary, Oconto Falls Elementary, Washington Middle School, and Oconto Falls High School collected items for our troops through the Eick-Sankey American Legion Auxiliary. The donations of hand/foot warmers, lip balm, beverage packets, hats, dental floss, and so much more will be sent to our troops making their holidays a little brighter. A total of 1551 pounds of donations were collected by all. The support and generosity of the students and community were incredible and greatly appreciated!!!

Notes from the Office
Custody Paperwork: One important concern we seem to have to address every year is one of legal documentation for custody of minor children. If you or your minor children are in the situation where there is legal court paperwork that states who is to have custody of your children and custody arrangements are spelled out in this document, please understand that we MUST have this paperwork on file in the school office. We can not take verbal instruction from any parent or grand parent as to whether or not another parent is not allowed to pick up their child. Legally, if we do not have court documentation that states the legal parent is NOT allowed to take their child from school we must allow them to do so. Therefore, please remember to be proactive and bring in any legal court documentation regarding the custody of your minor children so we can make a copy of it for our office. Thank you!
School Dress Up Days:
12/21/18 - Red, Green and White Apparel
ISO:
Parents--We are in search of boys gently used pants size 5/6 through 7/8 and girls pants size 7/8 for the upcoming winter months when students sometime need a change of clothing. We have plenty of undergarments and plenty of shirts. If your children have outgrown these sizes please consider a donation to the office for the times we need to provide these to students on a short term loan. Thank you!

Important EFunds Announcement:
For those of you that use the EFunds online payment system, please take a moment to make sure your payment information is updated so your payments post correctly. Due to recent banking changes in the area, many routing numbers and other banking information used by parents to submit payments is now incorrect.
What's Happening With the CPTO....
Holiday Gift Shop: Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with the Holiday Gift Shop.
Scrip Cards for Sale at Abrams Elementary! Scrip cards are gift cards you can use to pay at checkout for groceries, gas, retail stores and restaurants without the risk of fraud. You can use the scrip cards to shop in-store or online with participating retailers. You purchase gift cards at face value and use them for your purchases. If you find yourself patronizing certain stores, please consider buying scrip. Every other week the CPTO sends home an order form for you to order your cards, or you can stop in the school office and purchase cards that we have on-hand.
These cards make great Christmas gifts, birthday presents, or a great budgeting tool. Also, Kohl’s scrip cards may be applied to Kohl’s charge bill at the service counter or any checkout. Any questions contact Crystal Berg at cberg1081@gmail.com .
The next CPTO Meeting is January 7th at 6:15 pm. Please join us as we plan activities for our kids!
