High Interest Day
Volunteers Needed!
We are looking forward to High Interest Day at Horizon School on June 5. High Interest Day is a day for students to actively engage in a wide variety of learning opportunities that they choose. This event will also provide students with the privilege of building community partnerships and giving back to others during a hands-on service project. We are looking for parents, family members, friends, community members that are interested in leading a session or volunteering during the day. Some examples of courses include Quesadilla cooking, cookie decorating, henna, golf, Fairy Houses, etc. If you have an interest or idea you'd like to share with our students, please sign up. Please complete the form today!

Math
Next week students will be solving word problems involving fractions. They will need to determine if they need to divide or multiple to find the solution. This is a great review to prepare them for their test. Also, students will take the test for Unit 3 (multiplying and dividing fractions). Please check the Canvas calendar for the exact date.
Social Studies
Next week we will study the actions that the colonists took to regain their rights against Great Britain.
We will be taking our final assessment on Lessons 10-14 in the next few week. Students can use any notes they write on their study guide.
Here is a link to the study guide.
