The Songs
"I'm Still Here" by John Rzeznik (4:08)
This song reminds me of how I feel different and sometimes alone in the world, even though I know I am truely not. I want to tell people I am here, and I matter.

"Kickstart My Heart" by Mötley Crüe (4:43)
This song just makes think back on some of the awesome things i've done in my life.
Mötley Crüe - Kickstart My Heart
"Rock You Like A Hurricane" by Scorpions (4:13)
This song was pretty much my theme song as a child. I remember making my dad play it every time we would go somewhere in his old black Silverado, over and over again.
Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane (PCM Version)
"Eagles Fly [Live Acoustic] " by Sammy Hagar (5:52)
In a live performance with Van Halen, Hagar said this song was about being born. Of course, like all humans, I was born. The song also reminds me of my adopted baby brother, and being there when he was born.
Van Halen - Eagles Fly (Live)
"What A Shame" By Shinedown (4:19)
This song reminds me of friends of mine who have chosen bad paths to walk down. After turning to things like drugs and such, I honestly didn't want to be their friend anymore. I think it is a shame.
What a Shame - Shinedown
Slaughter - Up All Night
"Livin' The Life (I Was Born To Live)" by Steel Dragon (3:17)
I feel like my life is going in a great direction, so i'm just living it to the fullest!
Steel Dragon - Livin` the Life (With Lyrics)
"The Kids Are Back" by Twisted Sister (3:17)
This kind of reminds me of how me and my friends go around places. We do our own thing, and sometimes it gets out of hand. Like Brandon catching his face on fire at my bonfire.
TWISTED SISTER - The Kids Are Back
"Nothin' But A Good Time" by Poison (3:45)
My attitude toward everything is always positive. I am always ready for a good time.
Poison - Nothin' But A Good Time
"Rockstar" by Nickelback (4:19)
What can I say? I WANNA BE A ROCKSTAR! Is it possible? Probably not, but a guy can dream?
Nickelback - Rockstar [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
"Welcome To The Jungle" by Guns 'N Roses (4:34)
This just reminds me of football, because at Granite Middle and South Caldwell they play it before almost every game. It gets embeded in your brain.
Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle
"Put That Record On" by Hinder (3:39)
I have a deep love for old classic rock, and this song tells so much of the classic rock world. I love the references to other bands and songs within it. Plus I can see myself as an old man saying "Put That Record On."

"With Arms Wide Open" by Creed (4:35)
The song's feel gives me church-ish vibes, while still satisfying my need for rock. Overall it makes me think of church.
Creed - With Arms Wide Open
"Here I Am" by Bryan Adams (4:45)
While the song "Eagles Fly" by Sammy Hagar describes (in my opinion) my brother being born, I feel like this song even more describes how I felt when I finally got a little brother. I was supposed to be a big brother years ago, but due to complications my moms pregnancy failed. So it kind of says to me "I'm finally a brother, after all this time."
Bryan Adams - Here I Am
"The Story Never Ends" by Aaron Lewis (4:49)
This song perfectly describes Granite Falls in a nutshell. Growing up here with my wonderful parents has been a great experience.
Aaron Lewis - The Story Never Ends
