Buh-Bye Office Mix

Office Mix is saying goodbye on May 1st. If you currently have lessons on the Office Mix platform, you have until April 6th to edit those lessons. Please make sure you download any of those lessons you've created and want to save. If you need help, let me know!

We currently have a complete district-wide trial license for Playposit, which is an excellent alternative to Office Mix.

Windows 10 is coming!

ALL teacher machines will be re-imaged and updated to the Windows 10 operating system before the end of the school year. Don't panic! A schedule of your re-imaging date window will be sent in plenty of time, as well as more information.

In the meantime, please make sure you are storing all of your files in OneDrive. This will make for an easier transition!

Playposit has graciously given our district an all access trial subscription! To access, you'll need to visit Playposit and login with the single sign on Office365 account.

Playposit allows you to embed video from YouTube and many other sites or upload your own and then insert multiple types of questions into the video. Students can access the videos across any device, at their own pace, and you get the data. Perfect for teachers looking to develop blended and/or flipped lessons.

I am offering 2 PD sessions in April. Sessions will be held on Wednesday, April 11, from 3:00-4:00 at BCE 300 Lab, and again on Tuesday, April 17, from 3:00-4:00 at TFAA Library

Participants will need to register through SchoolStation.
