Principal's Message
Hello and welcome back, everyone! I hope that you are all doing well and had a relaxing break. Here we are with approximately four months of school left this year. It is hard to believe that we are almost in March.
It is such an interesting time as there is optimism with the decline in the numbers of COVID cases and the greater distribution of the vaccine while there are still some uncertainties about the future whether we are talking about this school year and/or the next.
Please stay the course and remain diligent in your work with your children/our students and our staff. Together we are an effective and efficient team.
As always, thank you for all you continue to do to make this year as regular as possible, to provide our students with the highest quality support at home as possible, and to support each other as we move forward! Take care and enjoy the time with kids being back in school!
Ps-School resumes on Monday, February 22!

Please ONLY complete this form if you do not want your child to participate in this program. It is due by February 10, 2021. Feel free to call our school with any questions. We are excited to bring this program to you! Take care and have a nice day!

A Note From GCSD:
GCSD Black History Month Celebrations: In recognition of Black History Month, the Greece Central School District is proud to share this virtual program of students celebrating Black Americans through video expression. Please use this YouTube playlist to join our performers in their appreciation of notable Black figures and Black historical perspectives.
Normally, our Black History Month celebration includes a public event honoring the district’s many Black Scholars and featuring live student performances. Due to the pandemic, we cannot be together in person but we hope you will take time to recognize their accomplishments and draw inspiration from their contributions.
IRLA Book Return
Please search and send any and all of these books back to school ASAP with your child or at materials pick-up/drop-off if your child is a 100% Virtual student. Thank you very much for your cooperation and support with this!

COVID-19 Updates
New Updates:
- If your child has tested positive for COVID, after the incubation period has ended, you must get an evaluation by the child's doctor that clears them for physical activity. Without that note, they cannot participate in gym. The completed form needs to be returned to the school nurse.
The Monroe County Department of Health recently provided new guidance for students and school staff who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or who may have come in contact with someone who tested positive. We recommend that you read and follow this guidance carefully to help limit the spread of COVID-19 in our schools and community.
