A Note from Mrs. Goldsworthy
Today, our 7th & 8th grade students, a few middle school teachers, and myself attended Grease the Musical at Bishop McGuinness High School. To say I was beaming with pride was an understatement! Ten St. Eugene Alumni were in the musical with several in lead roles! Two St. Eugene Alumni were stagehands! We had the most student performers from any other K-8 school!
St. Eugene Community is forever family. Our students and staff were so excited to see our alumni and they were excited to see us, too! To witness our Eagles flourishing as young adults in creative talents is truly beautiful. As a school leader, I lead our operations, instruction, and all the things that make our school "go." My favorite part of being a principal is the long-lasting relationships with students and their families. I was honored to receive so many surprise greetings around the school from likely over 50 Eagles that were genuinely excited to see us today. Then, to watch this cast and crew sing, dance, and act so magnificently. Forever Eagles!
Intent to Re-Enroll for 2024-25 (Required for PCTC)
Please complete the Google form to express your intention to re-enroll your child(ren) for the 24-25 school year. This is how we will verify your re-enrollment so that you can apply for the upcoming OK Parental Choice Tax Credit. (Please make sure only one parent/guardian per family fills out this form)
If you have a child who it NOT a current CSSE student, and you intend to apply for enrollment for next year, you need to complete the Google intent form AND complete an online new student application. Our applications have been live and we want to be able to extend priority review of sibling applications. Do not fill out an application for your current CSSE student.
Don't forget to attend one of our two upcoming parent meetings regarding tuition and tax credit opportunities for parents. Attend this Sunday at 3pm or Wednesday 8:15am, both in Ross Hall. Further information can also be found on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website.

Book Fair is Here!
Hooray! The St. Eugene Book Fair is here! We will have a family & friends shopping day on Saturday, November 11th from 9am-12pm. The book fair will be open daily to students and families Nov. 13-17 after drop off ends until one hour after afternoon carpool ends. Our online fair is already open. Books purchased online will ship free to the school after the book fair ends on the 17th.
If you are interested in volunteering to help as a fair cashier or with tear down, please use the book fair sign up. Proceeds from the book fair fund our library and pay for new books!
Book Fair Tips
Purchase gift cards online for your child to cut down on cash sent to school. Please print gift cards and send to school.
If you send cash or checks, please put it in a marked envelope with your student’s name, then email the teacher to let them know your student has money for the book fair.
If there are specific items you want your child to buy (or not buy), please include a note with their book fair money. Not all items listed in the flier are guaranteed to be in stock at our fair.
No big bags of mixed change please! Save Mrs. Hattaway’s sanity and count out change ahead of time, and roll or label how much in separate baggies for pennies, nickels, dimes, etc.
Teachers will have wish lists - pick a book out for your favorite teachers, or purchase a book fair gift card for them to use at the book fair Nov. 11-17th!
Thanksgiving Lunch With Your Student!
We will also need some volunteers to help serve and clean. If you would like to earn Time & Talent, please sign up. We will work to accommodate parents so they have time to eat with their student. bit.ly/23-tg-vol
Advent Toy Drive
Each year our 3rd grade SALT hosts a Toy Drive to help stock Christmas Connection (formerly Sharing Tree). This wonderful program allows families in need to shop with dignity so their children can find something under the tree on Christmas morning. Please send your items to the school library between November 27th and the morning of December 8th. Please send items you know your children would like to receive, and view Christmas Connection’s wish list at www.christmasconnection.org/donate-items. Thank you for helping families in need!
Have some good news to share about a student, alumni, or school family? We want to celebrate all your proud moments with you! Share your Eagle Excellence for inclusion in the EE!
Donuts with Dad is Thursday!
PTO will have donuts for dads and their students in Ross Hall before school starts. Come and go between 7:15am-7:55am. Please park in the north lot. After donuts, send the kids off to class, then move to the church for mass afterward if you are able to join us!
We need volunteers, so please sign up to help!
