From the Principal
Dear Parents,
We are heading into the last week of school in 2019 and there will be many exciting events next week at Defer! Check with your child's classroom teacher for specific events, class parties, or other schedule changes for the week.
I also want to say thank you to all the families who donated to the Pennies for Patients Coin Drive and coloring book/crayon drive for St. John's Hospital. I appreciate the generosity and kindness of our students and families.
I look forward to seeing many families at the Craft Fair/Book Fair on Saturday morning! Have a wonderful weekend!

District Information Nights
Middle School Info Night (previously scheduled for January 14) is being postponed until more curricular recommendations work through the district reconfiguration committees. The new date is anticipated in early March and will be announced soon. The district wants to evaluate a few more critical curriculum details before meeting with parents. One good news update – the social/emotional reconfiguration committee has announced the fifth grades will be attending camp in the fall.
