Conversation Starters

What did you learn this week when your classmates shared their Personal Passion/Expert Projects?

Reading in Action!

To help cultivate a love of reading at home, try the following:

*Model reading in front of your child

*Take your child to the public library

**Designate a special "reading time" where the whole family sits down to read

Also, after reading perhaps ask your child....

*Who are the characters in the story?

*How are you like the characters? How are you different?
