~NEWS FROM MRS. HUGHES~
Happy Tuesday!
Hello Lincoln Families! First, I'd like to apologize for missing Tuesday News last week. We have been hit by all of the sickness going around and missed last week. However, we are back at it and ready for a fun holiday season!
Our kindergartners are getting ready for the long standing tradition of performing their play, "No Turkey for Perky." There will be two performances in each individual classroom on Friday, November 18th, 9:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Please look for information from our incredible kindergarten team.
Don't forget...next week is the Thanksgiving holiday. We will be on a normal dismissal schedule for Monday and Tuesday. However, we will NOT HAVE ANY CLUBS ON MONDAY or TUESDAY! We are off for the holiday Wednesday through Friday. From all of our Lincoln Family to all of you, Happy Thanksgiving and please know how grateful we are for each of you.
Have a great week!
Karen Hughes, Principal
Book Fair was a HUGE success THANKS to all of you!

From the Library
Thank you Families!
Our Fall 2022 book fair was a huge success.
Your generosity and support will go a long way toward purchasing new Library Books.
A Note About Our New LIBRARY BAGS
I hope that most of you grown ups were introduced to your student’s new Library Bag last week. Each student was sent from the Library with a brand new, heavy duty, plastic bag with their name on it. These bags are to be used to protect their school Library books. I recommend that your student keeps the bag in their backpack and uses it as a protective shell for their library books. There are so many things inside their backpacks that can dirty or damage their library books. My hope is that the bags will help to make the books last a little longer, stay a little cleaner, and also bolster our students’ sense pf responsibility with borrowed books.

From the Art Room
Congratulations to the following students for receiving a free frame from our community frame shops. Their art will be on display in the store window as well as our Youth art month show in March.
The Frame and I chose:
Nyomi Yarbrough - Boen 3rd grader for her incredible Pollock's farm animal.
The Framers Market chose:
Gus Buller- Roe 1st grader for his wonderful Lincoln lion created in Kindergarten
Mrs. Dean is so proud of you and your amazing creativity!

Ms. Boen's Class is having a play!
