Red Ribbon Week Speaker
The Cascade High School Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Chapter sponsored our Red Ribbon Week Convocation speaker, Nathan Harmon. Nathan gave a powerful presentation about valuing self, overcoming adversity and making good decisions to help you live your best life. The students were very receptive to this powerful message. The Cascade High School SADD chapter sponsors Red Ribbon Week each year to help remind students to make positive life decisions.
Winter Choir Concert
The Cascade High School Choirs will present their Winter Choir Concert on Monday, December 9th at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.
Winter Band Concert
The Cascade High School Bands will be performing their Winter Band Concert on Thursday, December 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.
Advanced Engineering Project
Students in Advanced Engineering took on the challenge of creating chalkboards for a company in Bloomington to use at one of their training events. The building project was a success and the company was very happy with the chalkboards. This project allowed the students to use their knowledge in a real-world application.
The Cascade High School PTO would love to have you involved. Their next meeting will be Wednesday, January 15th at 6:30 p.m. in the high school Media Center. The Post Prom Committee is selling trash bags as a fundraiser. Winter Break for all Mill Creek Community Schools will be December 23-January 3. School will be closed on those dates. The last day of 1st Semester is Friday, December 20th. The first day of 2nd Semester will be Monday, January 6th.
