How can the Smallpox disease be spread?
The Smallpox disease can be spread through direct and fairly face-to-face contact. Smallpox can also be spread through direct contact with infected bodily fluids or contaminated objects such as bedding or clothes.
What are the symptoms of the Smallpox disease?
Some symptoms of the smallpox disease are:
- High fever
- Chills
- Malaise
- Headache
- Severe back pain
- Abdominal pains
- Vomiting
How can Smallpox be treated?
Sadly, there is no effective cure for Smallpox. Medical management is mostly for the patient's support.
How can I help prevent myself from getting the disease?
An effective medicine to prevent Smallpox has not been invented yet. However, a vaccine has been invented and has been known to prevent the disease.
