Making the choice to keep each other safe from COVID-19

As more and more of us are getting vaccinated, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter, but we’re still not out of the tunnel. Even though we may be tired of this diligence, once again we’re seeing rates of COVID-19 cases climb higher and hospitalizations increase in Oregon.

Let’s continue to make the choice to keep each other, and ourselves, safe from COVID-19.

State Testing Spring 2021

On April 6, 2021, the United States Department of Education conditionally approved Oregon Department of Education’s amended assessment waiver request,. As stated in the amended assessment waiver, St. Paul School District is required to administer the following assessments:

Grade Level Required Tests

3 English Language Arts (ELA)

4 Mathematics

5 Science


7 ELA & Mathematics

8 Mathematics & Science

11 ELA & Mathematics

St. Paul Elementary students will begin the above assessments on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Each assessment will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete. Please refer to State Testing Information on our District website for more information.
