Green is the new Black
Thalia Carr and Sineenat Garrett have been short listed for ''Green Is the New Black' recycled fashion design competition on behalf of St. Vincent's. They will be constructing their designs and will be modelling them at Bristol Fashion Week in March.
Sineenat will be making her outfit out of crisp packets so would like some empty donations, please give any into the Cabot Eye at JCA.

Medicine students!
Please attend if you are thinking about doing medicine at university or if you are considering a career in medicine.
Law Students!
The sessions will include a talk with a trainee solicitor, partner in a firm and a barrister.
If you would like to attend, please email corporate.resp@burges-salmon.com including your name, school you attend and year group. Please note this is a first come first served basis.
If you will be attending, please notify your relevant Post 16 Administrator to let them know you will be absent.

Assessment Point 4 Deadline: Tuesday 3rd March 2015 (All Sites)
Assessment point 4 closes on Tuesday, 3rd of March 2015 in readiness for the parents evening on the 10th. This is a short turn around for us as reports need to be shared across 5 sites so please make sure you meet this deadline. If there are any queries about this, please contact your relevant data manager or Assistant Director at Post 16.

The entry criteria will be B,B,B at A Level, but Law A Level is not necessary. The firm will be making offers in April, subject to the grades obtained in August.
They will also be offering work experience placements in August.

Lyons Davidson would like to offer keen and enthusiastic students the opportunity to experience what it is like to work within a national law practice. Students will spend time with several different departments, from legal specific departments to the support side of the business, throughout the week. This is not paid employment, but an opportunity that offers an insight into the day-to-day workings of a national law firm.
For those students who perform well during this week and receive positive feedback from the departments they complete work experience in, there may be the potential to subsequently complete a paid internship for six weeks during the summer (end of July/August).
