The July 4th holiday is one of my favorite times of the year as we celebrate the founding of our great nation 243 years ago. May this be a special time for you, too, as you celebrate Independence Day with family and friends while staying socially distant.
GOVERNOR PARSON BUDGET ANNOUNCEMENT
Tuesday of this week, Governor Mike Parson announced over $448 million in expenditure restrictions as we kick off the new fiscal year. About $132 million will come from K-12 public education. Hold harmless districts will be impacted as well with these restrictions.
