Calling all High School Students

Moose Youth Awareness Program

Opportunity for students in grades 9 - 12

Would you like to have the opportunity to mentor young children? The Moose Youth Awareness Program offers high school students the chance to encourage children ages 4 - 9 to make good choices when confronted with drugs, bullying, "stranger danger", health and nutrition, cyber safety and more.

There is a two day training held in Anchorage where high school students are guided in creating KidsTalks which they present to children in their communities. Each student is asked to present a minimum of three KidsTalks between the ending of the Congress and February 29, 2017. Participants also have the chance to win scholarships when they have completed their KidsTalks.

There is no cost for the students to attend the Youth Awareness Congress. Please contact Heidi at the office for more information. Students may pick up an application at the Office.
