What's Happening In Room 15?

Welcome!

This is Room 15's "new and improved" Monthly Newsletter. On our classroom website , the newsletters will be stored for your convenience to refer back to throughout the month. This page will have the latest information for you about the upcoming month.

Academic Updates

Math

  • Math Unit 2 - Multiplication and Division is beginning next week - Focusing on number of items in a group

  • Math Unit 1 - We will continue to review addition, subtraction, place value, rounding and graphing.


English Language Arts

  • ELA Unit 3 - Nonfiction text (Animals, Plants, Habitats) - Finding the main idea, supporting it with text evidence.


Writing

  • Informational paragraphs with supporting evidence from the text.


Science

  • Animal habitats, fossils, and changes

If you have any of the following laying around the house, Room 16 could use a few extra:


  • Disinfectant Wipes
  • Kleenex
  • Mr. Sketch Markers
  • Scotch lamination pouches 8.5 x 11 (.3 m)
  • Colored Paper
  • If students would like to bring their own headphones from home they are welcome to, this is not required
