Lowell Has School Novmber 7th! Lunch and Extended Day Provided
A Message from Mrs. Phelan
Dear Families,
Oh, what a delightful week it has been at our newly renovated Lowell! The atmosphere is simply brimming with happiness as we all come together and witness the abundance of joy that fills the hallways of our beloved building.
As the days turned into weeks, we find ourselves warmly embracing the arrival of November. The weather may be undergoing a transformation, but fear not, for our unwavering passion remains steadfast, defining who we are as a community!
Let us take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the tremendous efforts our students have put forth in these past few days. Their dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for their commitment to excellence. Rest assured, dear caregivers, we are determined to maintain this momentum as we navigate through the upcoming holiday season.
As we embark on this new month, let us embrace the changing seasons and the endless possibilities they bring. Together, we will continue to create a vibrant and inclusive community, where every individual feels valued and cherished. Monday we will bring back live morning announcements. Our older students will lead our community each morning.
With a grateful heart!
Stacy

Bring My Grown to Morning Meeting
We are pleased to announce Bring My Grown Up to Morning Meeting will take place in November. I know this month was a busy event filled month. But we're excited to invite you back to participate in Morning Meeting. We will also invite you to join us in the Learning Commons immediately following your classroom visit to have a discussion about what you can learn from our new literacy assessment, DIBELS. Please see the schedule below. Meetings begin promptly at 8:15 a.m.
Why Use DIBELS?
DIBELS 8th Edition is more useful for more students in more grades than ever before. DIBELS 8th Edition is the least invasive, and one of the most effective screening tools available. It is used widely in Title 1 schools across the nation. Lowell is a universal Title 1 school, with students in special education programs and identified with specific learning disabilities like dyslexia, and by educators focused on improving literacy for all students. Schools and districts choose DIBELS 8th Edition as their assessment solution because they trust scientific evidence, research-based practices, and decades of experience in teaching and learning on which DIBELS is based.
This is our annual Title 1 Meeting to explain assessment, intervention and WIN.
