Giving Tuesday - Direct Donation

Jefferson Elementary School

Consider a Direct Donation for Giving Tuesday

Hello, Jaguars!

As a follow-up to last week’s JPAT Community Survey Results, we’re writing with a Direct Donation Drive appeal. On the survey, many of you indicated that you prefer to give money directly (rather than in conjunction with an event). The Direct Donation Drive is for you!

To those of you who’ve already donated to the Direct Donation Drive, THANK YOU! To those who haven’t had a chance to donate yet, please consider giving sooner rather than later. Our planning for spring fundraising events depends in part on how much we raise in fall. The more we raise now, the less we’ll need to pester you in spring.

Our contributions to JPAT help make all kinds of awesomeness happen at Jefferson. During the current 2018-19 school year, JPAT is using money raised last year to help fund:

· Jefferson clubs

· Band Director for 4th and 5th grade band

· Director for 5th grade musical

· New recorders

· Art supplies

· The fabulous Jaguar mascot costume

· OBOB (Oregon Battle of the Books) coordinator for 3rd-5th graders

· Field trips and other educational enhancements

Currently we’ve raised $3,465 toward our goal of $10,000, so we still have a LONG way to go! Remember, the Direct Donation Drive ends on December 31.

HOW TO DONATE

Credit Card Contribution - Visit the Jefferson website at https://jefferson.csd509j.net. Select FUNDRAISERS from the JPAT drop-down menu and then click “Donate” to give securely through PayPal.

Check donations should be made out to “JPAT” and placed in the secure white mailbox just inside the school doors.

As an FYI, we've attached a chart that shows our current progress toward meeting our 2019 funding goals.

Thank you, Jaguars!

- Laura and Gabi, DDD Co-Chairs
