Cardio and strength training

According to Livestrong.com, cardio is not the fastest way to lose weight. The fastest way to see results by going to a gym regularly is to combine cardio with strength training. Running can cause pressure to your joints if you continue to run everyday and can lead to unwanted injuries, but if you spend more time working on engaging your core, your speed will significantly increase. What is the difference between flexibility and range of motion?

According to LiveStrong.com, Flexibility may refer to bones, muscles, joints, ligaments and other parts of the anatomy. Ligaments are said to be flexible, for example, but flexing a ligament too far can result in serious injury. Range of motion, in medical terms, generally refers to how well the joints in the human body move. The two work together. In order to have a good range of motion, you must have good flexibility. You can achieve your goal of being more flexible by engaging in a safe and daily stretching routine.
