Back-to-School Fair
Lewisville ISD’s Back-to-School Fair is an annual event that provides more than 6,000 students in need with free backpacks, supplies and resources to start the school year. This year, the fair is set for Saturday, Aug. 5 at Lewisville High School (1098 W. Main Street, Lewisville). For every $25 raised, a student in need will get a backpack filled with supplies to start the new school year.

One Vision Task Force Progress Update
This spring, Lewisville ISD sought individuals interested in participating in the One Vision Task Force, a group of stakeholders who represent a diverse group of LISD constituents charged with developing a plan and potential bond package that can be recommended to the LISD Board of Trustees for consideration.
In the first three meetings, the One Vision Task Force has learned about school finance, technology usage, construction costs, safety and security measures and more. Visit LISD.net/OneVision to hear from the task force members, read meeting recaps and more.

Lakeview MS Recognized at The Colony Chamber Awards
Lakeview Middle School students John Hawkins, Zaylen Payne and teacher Melissa Shanahan were all recognized by The Colony Chamber at the Chamber's March Luncheon at Lewisville ISD's TECC East campus. READ MORE

Graduation Walk at BB Owen Elementary

Ethridge Kindergartner Featured in Local Art Show
Warren Snead's artwork was featured at the Lewisville Grand Theater. "I was happy to be in the art show," he said. “My teacher told me to make it, so I put these squares on top each other with glue.” Click HERE to see more artwork from LISD students.
Camey Students Encourage Each Other for STAAR Testing

Memorial Students Compete in First District-Wide Robotics Competition
Memorial ES 4th and 5th graders competed against students from the other STEM Academies in the district, in a competition to design their own robot with the LEGO Spike Prime set. READ MORE
