Day 1 Lessons Learned Already!
Wow, a lot to learn! Thank you for your patience!
I realized I failed the day by not...
I failed the day but NOT starting it all with this 1 post! This next post should bring you some clarity. What the end in mind looks like by the end of the week! Again, thank you for your patience and understanding while I'm new at all this too! We're in this together!
The objective of the week is to complete TWO activities in each subject! Two activities per subject!
Students do not have a "CHOICE" per se in which activities they are doing. Each week the activities are going to be put into this form on the Mccardinals.org website. Activities are going to change week to week. THE STUDENT CHOICE COMES IN ONCE THEY GET TO THE ACTIVITY THAT IS A CHOICE MENU. The choice menu offers a variety of activities but they only have to choose one from the choice menu as "activity two". Why Google Classroom? It was very hard to get work to you and the students without access to Google Files, Slides, Docs, etc. Therefore, any paperwork needed in the big activities is posted in Google Classroom to save you from having to PRINT. EVERYTHING IS DIGITAL! Yes, at times it is hard to type and gets things to cooperate. My tip here is to change the ZOOM. You can allow the page to blow up big so it is much easier to manage and use. Once assignments are complete then students click, TURN IN. Some assignments do not get turned in each day. They take multiple actions before they get turned into me. I may or may not return an assignment to your student. If I do return an assignment, I am either asking your student to complete it or correct it and make it better.
