The best place to read!
November News
Miss Anastasia and Pete the Cat made an appearance on November 16th for the PreK, Kinder, and 1st grade.
3rd Grade Chatterpkid
Third grade students worked on their wetland research gathering information from a book, the encyclopedia, and from the Internet. They took their notes back to the classroom and crafted a report. Using the information they gained from three different sources they produced a Chatterkid technology project that will be shared with their classmates at a later date.
Miss Ananstasia
Her wacky story telling style and singing engaged the students to sing along too. At the end, Pete the Cat, made an appearance for group photos.
Cool Shoes
Pete found a little girl in Ms. Martinez's class with unicorn shoes. He had to pose with her cool shoes.
Capstone Press provides a research database for K-2 students. Students at this age are typically just learning how to research, read, and distinguish between fact and opinion. This resource is designed with that audience in mind. This could include those students in the upper grade levels that need lower level reading material or ESL students. The areas covered are animals, Science, biographies, Social Sciences and Animales.
In short, PebbleGo is meant to provide a wealth of non-fiction reading materials and activities that can help students learn how to conduct research in a friendly and safe environment.
As students explore PebbleGo, they don't need an individual login or credentials. Just have them use the school-wide login information.
