Digital Citizenship Tip of the Week!
You cannot believe everything you read or see online. Publishing online is easier than ever so there is a lot of inaccurate or biased information out there. When you come across information, question who wrote the message and why it was created. Find more advice about evaluating websites here.
Chromebook Tip of the Week!
Only clean your Chromebook screen with a screen cleaner and dry microfiber or anti-static cloth. Never spray anything directly on the Chromebook.
Visit the Wilson Student Help Corner Website where you can find video tutorials answering your frequently asked questions about apps used in your classrooms. We also have tutorials in Armenian and Spanish.

Month of mindfulness
The month of May is dedicated to self-care. Managing our chores, homework, and other responsibilities can wear us down both physically and mentally. It is important to dedicate some time out of our busy week for some self-care!
"Self-care means giving yourself permission to pause."
If you are ever feeling overwhelmed, take a break and do something to re-energize.
Glendale Water & Power’s “Water is Life” Student Art Contest
Glendale Water & Power’s “Water is Life” Student Art Contest is open to all K-12th grade Glendale Unified School District students. Sponsored by Glendale Water & Power and the Metropolitan Water District (MWD), participating students are asked to submit artwork portraying the water-wise theme, along with a short message about water conservation for a chance to be featured in MWD's 2023 Calendar!
From the entries received, GWP will select first place ($100 Amazon Gift Card), second place ($75 Amazon Gift Card) and third place ($50 Amazon Gift Card) winners for their talents. And a total of 15 entries will be selected by GWP and submitted to MWD for a final round of competition, and additional prizes and recognition. Deadline to submit artwork is July 1, 2022.
Please click here for guidelines and information on how to submit artwork. Also, you will see GUSD student winners from our contest last year!
