Interested in law enforcement or criminal justice?
Are you interested in earning college credit towards a degree in law enforcement or criminal justice? We are excited to let you know about the following:
What: You may select from two different courses to receive both high school and college credit.
The first course is Introduction to Justice. In this course, students learn about the structure and agencies relating to criminal justice. It includes an introduction to criminology, criminal law, police, courts and corrections.
The second course is Introduction to Addictive Processes. In this class the focus is on gaining knowledge of the psycho-social aspects of addiction. Historic and behavioral approaches, disease concept and current trends relating to addiction are presented. Twelve step and self-help approaches are explored.
** Both classes provide 3 college credits and 0.5 high school credits as a CTE or elective credit.
