About Him
Booker T. Washington was born in april of 1856 in Hales ford Vergina. And died in november of 1915 in Alabama. During the years he was alive he went to wayland seminary and hampton university. He founded many organizations including the Calhoun Colored School and the national negro business league. Some of the books he wrote was Up From Slavery, The Negro Problem, and The Future Of The American Negro.
