Fastpitch Softball

Fundamentals
What good does it do running up a score on offense to them tying it up when you're on defense? It's pointless. Fielding is one of the most important things in order to win a softball game. Almost every team does a few drills of grounding balls or catching pop flys to improve their fielding. Another things that you need to be able to do is bat. You can't go up there expecting to get walked. As much as we wish it could work like that it doesn't. So going through some soft tosses before you start to actually bat could help you out big time. The last one I'll talk about is pitching. In order to be a good pitcher you need to push off the mound, reach back through the down swing, and finish tall. You won't be perfect the first time, but practice makes perfect.
Equipment
Most of the teams you see who are getting ready to play, carry around a big ball bag. That totes around all the equipment. It usually holds balls, bats, all the catchers gear, and a first aid kit, because you never know when you'll need something out of it. Usually every individual player has their own gym bag that holds their cleats, and softball glove for them.
Cheering
Just like every other sport softbal players cheer too. Usually the time they cheer the most at is when their team is up to bat and wanting to distract the pitcher or liven up the team a little bit. It's fun having the whole team chanting along besides you, and everybody enjoys it.
