Camera Shots
Long Shot
It means a wide shot of the whole scene, placing the subjects in their environment.
When there is a person in the frame it usually means they take up almost full frame height
Wide Shot
In this shot you can see the character and the environment, the room around the character can be thought of as safety room as you don't want to chop his head out of the frame.
Close Up
This shot shows very little background, this shot normally shows either a face or specific detail of Mise en scene.
Extreme Close Up
This extreme close up normally show an eye of a animal or an character which is concentrating on something.
Birds Eye View
This shows the environment such as the city or desert or even a table where two characters are having a conversation.
