From the Principal's Desk
Dear Sacred Heart Parents,
Welcome back and Happy New Year. The short week last week allowed us to ease back into our school routines and set us up for a great full week ahead.
I want to thank the over 75 families that responded to our Accreditation Parent Stakeholder Survey. Our Accreditation Steering Team along with both Fr. Joe and I will be reviewing the results of the survey and a summary of these results will be shared in the coming weeks. We will have short discussion about the survey and the accreditation process at this week's PTO meeting. The meeting will be held on Tuesday at 3:45 in the Andes room of the school.
In just a few short weeks we will hold our PreK-Kindergarten Open House on Sunday, January 22nd from 11:30 - 1:30. We encourage all of our families to reach out to coworkers, neighbors and friends and invite them to come and see what makes Sacred Heart such an amazing place. We do ask that those considering attending the PreK-Kindergarten open house to please RSVP by contacting the school office.
We will also hold our general school open house at the start of Catholic Schools Week on Sunday, January 29th. This open house is open to both current and prospective families.

Highlights for Next Two Weeks
Tuesday - Class Themed Shirt Day - For those who purchased class themed t-shirts in the fall you are allowed to wear this shirt with jeans on Tuesday of this week. Thank you to those who purchased a shirt in support of our 7th grade class trip to Washington DC.
Tuesday - PTO Meeting @ 3:45 in the Andes Room.
Thursday - Enrichment Showcase is CANCELLED.

Mr. C Challenge for the week of January 9th

Hats, Coats, Gloves and Boots
Please remind your child to bring a warm, weather appropriate coat, hat, gloves and if snowy, boots to school. With all the various illnesses going around we want our students to be as healthy as possible and we will go outside for recess if the temperatures stay above 19 degrees.
We also have received a donation of fleece tops (Northface, Addidas etc.). If any parent is interested please contact the main office.
