· April 30, 2023 (11:59 PM ET) - Deadline to indicate students’ fee reduction status in AP Registration and Ordering
· June 15, 2023 - Postmark deadline for exam payment and invoices to the AP Program. Late payments incur a $225 fee.

DECEMBER 2022 STAAR EOC ADMINISTRATION
- Creating Test Sessions
Districts may begin creating test sessions for the December State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) end-of-course (EOC) administration on November 15, 2022.
- Test Materials
Districts will receive STAAR test administrator manuals and its initial shipment of secure paper test materials for the December administration the week of November 14–18, 2022. Districts must order any needed additional paper test materials during the window of November 18–December 9, 2022, and additional return labels by December 30, 2022.
SPRING 2023 ADMINISTRATIONS
As a reminder, districts must have specific flags set in the Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE) for students to participate in spring administrations of the Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS), TELPAS Alternate, and STAAR Alternate 2.
Students must have the Emergent Bilingual Indicator Code set to “1” for the TELPAS administration. The deadline for districts to indicate a special paper or holistic administration is November 23, 2022. For students who meet the eligibility requirements for a special paper or holistic administration, districts must have the Special Ed Indicator Code or Section 504 Indicator Code set to “Yes”. Districts must also make the appropriate selections in the Test Mode and Paper Test Format fields.
- TELPAS Alternate
To be eligible for the TELPAS Alternate administration, students must have the Emergent Bilingual Indicator Code set to “1”, the Special Ed Indicator Code set to “Yes”, and the Alternate Student Flag: TELPAS Alternate set to “Yes” by November 23, 2022.
- STAAR Alternate 2
To be eligible for the STAAR Alternate 2 administration, students must have the Special Ed Indicator Code set to “Yes” and the Alternate Student Flag: STAAR Alternate 2 set to “Yes” by January 6, 2023. In addition, the STAAR Alternate 2 EOC Eligibility field and the Paper Test Format field must be adjusted, as applicable.
STAAR Interim FAQ
If the test is paused and continued the next day, students will not be able to change any items previously completed.
In addition since RLA and Math have two parts - once students submit part A, they will not be able to return to that section even if it's the same day.
