Finalists Announced in Normandy Schools Superintendent Search
The Normandy Schools Collaborative Joint Executive Governing Board is pleased to announce the selection of three finalist candidates in the running for the district’s superintendent vacancy. The candidates selected include:
- Dr. Howard E Fields III, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Kirkwood School District
- Dr. Bruce Green, Director of Secondary Education for Ritenour School District
- Dr. Michael Triplett, Assistant Superintendent of Operations for Olathe Public Schools
The Joint Executive Governing Board will make its final decision at a later date.

Normandy High School Centennial Celebration 2023-2024
Planning is underway for the 100th-anniversary celebration of Normandy High School, culminating in the 2024 graduation! Be on the lookout for more information on events planned throughout the 2023-2024 school year. Go Vikings!
Normandy Family Night at UMSL Recreation and Wellness Center
Activities include crafts, games, pickle ball, basketball, and a climbing wall. Pizza and drinks will be available for purchase. Normandy residents can get in for free, and outside community attendees can get in for $4.

Gateway to Homeownership- January 14
Attendees will get a free lunch and an educational program about the home-buying process, loan programs, and more. The program will include information about:
- Assistance programs for first-time and non-first-time buyers
- A personalized, step-by-step pathway to homeownership
- The home-buying process, from qualification to closing
- Loan programs for all buyers

To promote transparency in our district, the Normandy Schools Collaborative has created a vehicle to hear directly from our students, parents, staff, and community. If you have concerns or comments about the school system, we want to hear from you. We value your feedback, positive or negative. Please send us a comment about a recent experience, offer suggestions on how we can improve, or give a shout-out to an employee who deserves recognition for doing a great job. All communications with the district will remain anonymous.
