Hello NWC Teachers, Students, and Families!

My name is Stacie Tharp and I am Northwest Crossing's new Librarian. I have 23 years of teaching and librarian experience at the elementary and middle school levels. I am so excited to be joining the NWC team! My passions include reading, technology, teaching, cooking, baking, crochet, and traveling. Resource of the Month- CultureGrams: Your portal to countries around the world

CultureGrams is a wonderful interactive tool to learn more about the 200+ countries around the world. If your child needs to learn more about a country or another culture, this is a highly recommended resource. Not only does this database include comprehensive information such as historical timelines, cultural history, population, etc., students may also find photo galleries, slideshows, video clips, famous people collections, interviews, recipes, fun facts, and "Life as a Kid" on this site.
