Woods Lake Elementary
Weekly Update January 11-15, 2021
Hello Woods Lake Family,
This week we ask that our First, Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade parents come to the school to pick up new curriculum. Our main office will be open daily from 8:00 to 4:00 p.m. You may park in the Oakland drive parking lot and walk to the main entrance where you will collect the materials that will be located in the foyer. We will have Tuesday and Thursday evening from 4:00-6:00 p.m. as additional times for curriculum pickup.
Those students who successfully completed our Lexia Challenge during winter break, will receive a treat to eat! Teachers will notify families of the recipients. Treats are available next week during our regular office hours and at curriculum distribution times.
As always, Stay Safe and Stay Healthy!

We are currently gearing up for Family February. Every February, we welcome loved ones of KKIT students to become honorary members of the orchestra! You don't have to have previously playing experience or an instrument at home to join. We will provide instruments and introductory lessons so you and your student can prepare together for a special virtual performance on March 4. The time commitment is 2 hours per week, including every Thursday from 4pm-5pm. Sign up here: https://forms.gle/aNckVMhfbGqugTtaA We will also be holding a virtual family board game night and picture scavenger hunts throughout the month for families.
