Three Tools of Technology
Pixton
Pixton is a great website students can use to create their own comics. They can create their own characters, speech bubbles, and props to make a comic expressing their creativity and knowledge of a specific topic. Many students thoroughly enjoy this because of the freedom it allows. Students will be using Pixton to create comics on their interpretation of the historical events we are studying.

Tiki-Toki
Tiki-Toki is an excellent tool for students to create interactive timelines. These timelines can include personal images and text to convey a story. Students prefer to use this website rather than creating a physical timeline because it is very engaging for both the creator and the audience. Students will be using Tiki-Toki to create an interactive timeline of the historical events we have discussed.

Popplet
Popplet is a collaborative tool for mind-mapping. Various students can log onto their own computer and add bubbles to the mind-map. Immediately, the students can see what the other students have added which makes it very easy to use. Text, images, videos, and drawings can be added to the mind-map. Students appreciate Popplet because it is simple to use and the possibilities are endless. Students will use Popplet to create a mind-map of what we have learned and utilize this as a study guide for their test next Thursday.
