1) Code.org (K-5th)
Code.org Studio is designed to teach students the basics of computer science, starting as early as kindergarten. Tutorials enable students to cover programming topics such as repeat loops, conditionals, and functions, as well as broader concepts such as how the internet works, or the role of digital citizenship in modern society.

DreamBox delivers millions of individualized learning paths and tailors every math lesson to ensure students work in their optimal learning zone.High-quality, research-based PK-8 math lessons empower students to master key math concepts.

3) Sumdog (1st-5th)
Sumdog uses motivating games to encourage students to practice mathematics, reading and writing. As students work, an adaptive learning engine monitors their progress and targets its questions to their needs. This personalization means that they can always play Sumdog with their classmates, even if each one is working on different skills.

5) Teach Your Monster to Read (K-1st)
Teach Your Monster to Read is a series of games which help children to learn key early stages of reading. Combining game design with essential learning, the games complement systematic phonics instruction.
6) Istation (PK-5th)
Istation Reading is an computer-based adaptive reading program that delivers individualized reading instruction for PK-5 students with guided practice in critical reading domains, including:

7) Typing Club (2nd-5th)
Typing Club an individualized platform to help kids learn to touch-type (typing using all fingers, without looking at the keyboard). Kids progress through 100 different levels of increasing difficulty, from the alphabet through numbers and symbols. TypingClub can help students learn how to type more efficiently and accurately on the QWERTY keyboard.

10) Research (1st-5th)
The Independent Investigation Method (IIM) consists of seven successive manageable steps that culminate in a completed research project. The process adapts and applies across subjects and grade levels as students become increasingly proficient with information literacy, content creation, collaboration, and communication.
11) Pebble-Go (K-3rd)
PebbleGo is a kid-friendly, searchable database that covers a variety of topics--animals, earth and space, biographies, and social studies . Kids can practice researching and reporting on what they learn (with proper citations). Every subtopic presents information in five-parts with text, photos, videos, and links to similar topics.
12) HISD Digital Resources (PK-5th)
HISD Digital Resources are available to all students, teachers, parents, and administrators in Houston ISD. Campus access is available through any district computer; access to these resources outside of Houston ISD campuses requires a username and password. A handout is coming soon regarding login passwords for home access.

14) Documents, Slides, & Drawings
Google Apps are communication and collaboration applications that allow students to work from any device on documents and projects with Docs, Sheets, Slides, & Drawings. (Grades 4-5) and complement Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (Grades 2-3).
KidPix 3-D is a painting, drawing, and publishing studio for primary students (K-2).
15) HISD HUB (K-5th)
As part of PowerUp — a districtwide initiative aimed at digitally transforming 21st century teaching and learning — HISD has launched a K-12 online platform to become the center of collaboration, personalization, curriculum, instruction, and communication in HISD.
