A Physical property is something you can observe without changing it into something else.

Examples of physical propertys

~ Softness of dogs fur

~ A smooth table

~ A ruff cabinet

Chemical propertys

A characteristic that can be observed when a substance interacts with another substance.

Examples of chemical propertys

~ Flammability

~ Toxicity

~ Ability to rust

Physical and chemical changes

Physical change

A change that alters the form or appearance of a substances, but does not make the material not another substance.

Chemical change

A change in matter that produces a new substance.

Examples of physical change

~ Chopping wood

~ Molding clay

~ Melting ice
