Important information regarding materials to be included with scholarship applications:
If your scholarship application requires a recommendation letter/nomination/verification from school counselors or school administration, please submit all required documents to Coach Stevens or Mrs. Morris at least one week prior to the deadline.
All requests for official or unofficial transcripts must be made in writing and must be accompanied with associated transcript fee. Official transcript-$3, Unofficial transcript-$1
Doreen McMullan McCarthy Memorial Academic Scholarship for Women with Bleeding Disorders
National Hemophilia Foundation
Target applicant:
High school students
College students
Graduate school students
Adult students
Purpose: To assist women with bleeding disorders in pursuing higher education.
Eligibility: Applicants must be female U.S. residents who have a bleeding disorder that has been diagnosed by a hematologist. Preference is given to those who have participated in community service or volunteer work pertaining to bleeding disorders. The funds may be used to pay for undergraduate or graduate studies.
Amount: $2,500.
Number of awards: 1.
Deadline: June 6.
