Please check your student’s My Payments Plus account
Please note that the last day students will be able to charge a meal will be Thursday, May 10. After that date, students MUST have money in their My Payments Plus account to purchase lunch. This ensures the district can clear up end-of-year negative balances.
Please check your student’s My Payments Plus account at https://www.mypaymentsplus.com/ regularly to ensure there is sufficient money to receive a meal, as well as to clear up any possible negative balance.
Any money left over in the account will transfer over to next school year.
If a parent has a student who is graduating and has a positive balance of more than $5 left in the lunch account, there are two options.
The first option is to request a transfer of that money to any other student they may have at Pickerington Schools.
If a refund is requested the parent calls the Food Service Office at 614-833-3645. Refunds are done through the Treasurer’s Office. They are done once a month at the end of the month. Upon request we fill out a refund slip with the student information, refund amount, and the name/address of the parent so a check can be mailed out.
Refunds of less that $5 will not be processed.
SCHOOL FEES
We would like to remind you that as we approach the end of the 2017-2018, school year any school fees owed are due at this time. Any other obligations such as previous years school fees, lost library books, activity money not collected, sports uniforms not turned in are also due.
SENIORS ONLY: MAY 4, 2018 WILL BE THE LAST DAY WE ACCEPT A PERSONAL CHECK FOR ANY FEES OWED. After this date we will only accept a certified check, money order or credit card. You are now able to pay your fees online using the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus. Last day to pay senior fees is Tuesday, May 15th.
If you have any questions regarding your fees,
please contact us at (614) 830-2700.
IMPORTANT: Seniors who have an outstanding balance will NOT be permitted to participate in the Pickerington North's Graduation Ceremony unless all outstanding fees have been paid.
One-to-One Devices
Students in grades 5-12 will start turning their Chromebooks and tablets in to the district on May 11. Here’s some key information parents and students must know to make this process as smooth as possible!
PREPARING YOUR DEVICE
Your child’s Chromebook or tablet must be charged on the collection dates listed below to allow for inspection by district staff. Be sure your student also brings any power cords and district-provided cases, along with the device itself. All juniors and seniors must remove their Apple ID and password from their devices.
COLLECTION DATES
All students who are absent on the scheduled days listed below must turn in their devices at their school’s media center on the first day they return to school. Students may not return devices before the days scheduled below.

BUILDING SCHEDULES AND REPAIRS
Each building has created a schedule for device return days.
During their assigned times, students will bring their devices to the media center. Members of the Pickerington Schools Technology Department will inspect them for needed repairs, checking things such as whether keyboards function properly, WiFi connectivity, working trackpads/touch screens, functional ports, and physical damage. Any needed repairs will occur during the summer.
Students who have devices that need to be repaired will receive a statement of needed repairs. Needed repairs will be covered under the conditions of the district’s Technology Protection Plan, which parents had the option of purchasing last fall. Parents who did not purchase that insurance will be charged for those repairs, with costs billed to the student’s Infinite Campus account.
PSAT Testing
To the Class of 2019, 2020 and 2021:
Once again, we are offering an ACT Review course for those students who wish to have a more structured environment or class before the June 9th National ACT test. The ACT Review course is being held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 8 am until 4 pm in the Lecture Hall at PHS North. Students who register to attend the ACT Review class should bring their lunch/snacks and water/drinks as there will be no break for lunch.
There is a $90.00 fee for this ACT Review class and it is a strictly a service or option we provide to families and students and is not in any way required. All PHSN students will still have access to their free online ACT prep course on their Naviance account to prepare practice for the ACT. This program is available to all students during the school year and over the summer. The ACT Review course is just another option for those who wish to take a course with direct instruction in the ACT test content and test-taking strategies.
Attached is a flyer with information regarding how to register for the ACT REVIEW class.
Good Luck!
