We Have Spirit, Yes We Do!
News from Jack Anderson PTO
Calling all Box Tops! Our first Box Top Drawing is set for tomorrow morning!!
Students can bring their Box Tops every week for a chance to win a crisp $5.00 bill! Our Box Top Mail Box is located beside the Spirit Shop in the front lobby area of the school. Make sure each deposit in the mail box has the child's name and teacher name on it. (the Box Tops can be put in an envelope, a Ziploc, etc. with the child's information written on it.)
Every Monday morning, Mrs. Sanders & Mr. Thurman will announce a weekly winner on the announcements from a random drawing of all Box Tops received that week. (To make it easier for our Box Top committee, please make sure to trim the edges of your Box Tops before sending them.)
Our First Spirit & Fellowship Night of the Year is this Thursday, August 31 from 4-9pm at Maggie Moo’s! Bring the whole family out for a sweet treat and some fun all to support Jack Anderson PTO!!

STEM-task-tic Needs and News
We need BIG boxes of all sizes, so please be saving them for us. Students are about to begin the Second Annual JAE Cardboard Challenge, and this year will be even better than the first! We will let you know when we are ready for the boxes to be sent to school.
I was able to hang out with some 5th graders in the STEM lab this week as they dissected owl pellets. It is one of my very favorite seminars! Ok, I really do kind of say that about all of them.
Great Deals & Dressing Up with Smart Cards
Because we are so fired up for Smart Card savings, Friday September 1st will be Favorite College or Sports Team dress up day! Wear your favorite team's colors or jersey and support the ones for whom you love to cheer.
JAE Cafe
Please make payments in a timely manner. We already have several hundred dollars in lunch charges. We appreciate your cooperation so that our JAE Cafe will continue to thrive. If you need assistance, please let Mrs. Osborne know.
