Open House at ALL Elementary Schools: On May 9th, all of the elementary schools will be hosting an open house from 6:00-7:00pm. We welcome everyone to stop by your child's 2017-2018 school to meet the staff. We look forward to begin partnering with families and making this transition smoother for our kiddos!
Field Trip: Unless you marked 'School Lunch' on the field trip permission slip, please make sure your child has a sack lunch in disposable packaging for the field trip on Thursday, May 4th. If you need to change your child's lunch choice, please let us know ASAP so that we can contact the cafeteria staff.
Also, please have your kiddo wear their "Team 2nd" class shirt (or one of a similar color) received during Fall conferences time.

Spelling Tests: The spelling word list above is going to be our last spelling lesson for the year. We will be using spelling time to complete end of the year Pathways testing.
Reading Log: The March reading log was the last in the Book-It Program. Even though there is not an April or May reading log going home, kids are encouraged to continue the great habit of reading at home.
Sight Word Lists: Each month, we assess the students on reading a list of common words, also known as sight words. For more information and a list of the words, please click here: Monthly Sight Word Lists.
