PINE HOLLOW MIDDLE SCHOOL
Wednesday, October 10, 2018
Dear Pine Hollow Parents,
First quarter has flown by and is ending this Friday! Report cards will be mailed home at the end of next week, so we encourage you to review them with your child to celebrate their success. Please feel reach out to teachers if you have questions about grades, and remind your child that they should also be checking in with their teachers when they have questions or concerns.
We have a lot going on at Pine Hollow this month... so thank you for reviewing the information below and staying up to date with all of our events. One of my goals as Pine Hollow's Principal is to communicate early and often, so please consider following us on Twitter, joining the PTSA Facebook Group and signing up for our text alerts. We appreciate your support thus far, and hope to see see you at the Chili Challenge later this month!

Walk & Roll to School Event: October 17
Pine Hollow is teaming up with Highlands Elementary School for our annual "Walk and Roll to School" event on Wednesday, October 17! Students are encouraged to walk/bike/roll to school on this day, and arrive early to school to enjoy free slushies, receive prizes, and enter a free raffle drawing. Helmets will be available, as needed, before school for students on wheels. Please remind your children to use crosswalks, wear helmets, and make eye contact with drivers before crossing streets. Thank you to Street Smarts Diablo for hosting this event and supporting our local schools!
