Mariner Memo
May 24, 2019
Also in this edition of the Mariner Memo we feature our Caught with Character student, our Student of the Week, and the recorded version of last week's awards ceremony at the PAC.
Coming home today through email and with (most) 8th grade students is an informational letter about the Moonshot Survey. This study that we will be participating in is designed to provide equal access to students to the internet and requires data points for speed of connectivity in our area. Students will be participating in this survey in their 8th grade Science classes the first week of June and there is a small home component included within it as well.
I hope that everyone has a fun and safe Memorial Day Weekend.
-Mr. Ming

MCMS Awards Show
Last Wednesday night, the 15th of May, Marine City Middle School honored the academic performance of our students during an awards ceremony at the Performing Arts Center. This celebration of our students was recorded by Channel 6 and is posted below for your viewing. Please note that this is the full recording of an hour and a half. If you are looking to view a particular student, then you will need to estimate where that may be. The order or presentation was 8th grade, then the 7th grade, and finally the 6th grade. Thanks.
