1870-1872

The first rail road was built in Oklahoma. People were excited because they had a faster way to travel. They also didn't have to travel with horse and buggy. A buggy is a trailer pulled by horses.

1890, May second

The region was divided into Oklahoma territory and Indian territory. This means Indian and Oklahoma were divided into two different states. Oklahoma had its own territory, and so did Indian.

2002

People freak out when barge hit the bridge on Highway Z. 12 people hurt but just some little cuts. Crew on the barge say it was a mail function with the steering.
