Matt's Monday Memo
March 4, 2019
Good morning all.
Recently a class hosted a teaching session by a candidate for a current opening. During our debrief with the students, one commented that "teachers here care for students and everything about them. I think they (teaching candidate) are like that too." That opinion was affirmed by their classmates as well. Undoubtedly that link carries throughout the day for students--thanks for all you do each day.
I am eager to witness All Write this week. Please keep to the processes that our hosts shared, and have a great week.
Regards,
Matt

Happy School Social Workers’ Week! Thanks to Anne Gibbs, Anne Marie Guntli, and Suzanne Goldstein for everything you do!
Congratulations to Karen Verstraete and Barb Smith for their hard work in putting together a very smooth summer school online registration.
Courtney Jordan shared, "On Wednesday, our step team performed during the Cultures of WE night at Westchester Elementary in Kirkwood. The ladies were outstanding examples of WGHS and WGSD. After their performance, the young ladies taught the students and their families two quick, yet challenging steps. Their leadership skills were shining! Simone and I are very proud of these young ladies for showing up and showing out to represent our school and district!" Congratulations, Step Team!
